Professor Emerita
Dr. Sandra Archer Young joined the 香港六合彩官网 faculty in 2013. Prior to joining the 香港六合彩官网 family, she served as Program Director for the English Education at Columbia College and taught literature, writing, methods courses, and First Year English courses (2006-2013). Dr. Young enjoys teaching a variety of literature and composition courses at 香港六合彩官网 particularly African American literature, Creative Nonfiction, and Professional Writing.
Since 1981, Dr. Young has been married to Charles, and they are the parents of two grown children, Charlotte and Christopher, and two grandchildren, Tolu and Israel. She spends many hours outside of 香港六合彩官网 interacting with the members of the thirty churches that her husband supervises in his role as a presiding elder in the Seventh Episcopal District A.M.E. Church. Whenever she has free time, you鈥檒l find her reading, writing, and trying to finish a jigsaw puzzle.
