Dr. James Whitaker, a distinguished professor in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø’s Sport Management program, recently embarked on an inspiring journey to Malta, joining the Go Sport leadership team from North America. This trip wasn’t just another conference — it was a global gathering of sports ministry leaders from over 30 countries, spanning all seven continents, held in the historic St. Paul’s Bay, famously known as the site where Paul was shipwrecked on his way to Rome.

Representing the North American Sport Movement (NASM), Dr. Whitaker spent four dynamic days connecting with fellow sports ministry pioneers, learning, sharing, and innovating ways to harness the power of sports for spiritual growth. The Go Sport conference focused on empowering leaders with the tools and strategies to multiply disciples for Christ in competitive and elite sports.

Dr. Whitaker's dedication to integrating faith and athletics is unwavering. He continues to motivate athletes and coaches to explore the sports movement and actively participate in sports ministry. Currently, he is involved in several Go Sport training cohorts and is eager to launch new groups of athletes and coaches soon.
